Samsung UN46D7000

I have used Samsung UN46D7000 tv for 3 several weeks..things are good relating to this tv – display quality, seem, etc. BUT BUT among the rudimentary functions – hooking up to internet via built-in wireless is really a inconvenience.

Each time I switch on the television, keep getting “network interference problem” and tv does not appear to keep my network password and I must type in passcode each time I switch on tv. It had been working acceptable for the first month but after among individuals patches I have installed, keep getting this issue. My laptop, ipad and apple iphone will work with no issues. Attempted calling Samsung customer service, they’re pleased to blame my mobile phone network provider or router rather than attempting to resolve the issue.

It really is frustrating to type in ntwk passcode each time and after having to pay a lot of money for that tv. Appears like a number of ppl are getting this problem, CNET forum includes a thread about this problem but regrettably there’s no solution yet. Samsung – Please..please fix this problem As soon as possible.

Samsung UN46D8000

I purchased Samsung UN46D8000 Television set after reading through many, many reviews… however i will admit that my preference was towards getting low energy consumption, features, along with a slim bezel.

I most likely should haev put ‘picture quality’ first. Although this set has good display quality, that is certainly not great. You will find spots where one can begin to see the LEDs are better round the edges, plus some ‘banding’ or streaky-searching display around the LCD itself. It is simply really annoying watching movies and the like, something which I do not do too frequently about this TV.

Typically, I personally use this set to experience games on my small PS3 in order to watch television through time Warner Digital recording device set. It will a great job only at that, however not great… the image quality will annoy me every once in awhile and that i will have to consider another thing…

The characteristics are decent with Samsung UN46D8000 Black Friday TV, and also the low energy consumption is precisely what came me in. During these respects, you will never beat this Samsung TV.

Vizio E321VL

Bought Vizio E321VL of these at a popular deal-a-day site. Including five bucks to ship, it was under a deuce. Yes, under a deuce. It’s worth MUCH more than that – a very pleasant surprise. For most people’s purposes, the resolution, refresh rate, etc. are more than adequate. At proper viewing distances, you will not discern a difference between this and a much more expensive TV.

Set up is easy; the tuner is really, really good, and pulls broadcast channels like a champ. A bit of googling will uncover lots of proposed settings to tweak the picture. The set has some fairly useful ones built in (“golf,” “movie,” “standard,” “football,” etc.) but tweaking can make a difference. The sound was even a pleasant surprise. Not great, of course – this is not a ‘home-theatre-in-a-box’, after all. But the front-firing speakers are much better than I’d have expected and beats any of the smaller LCD TV’s I’ve heard.

We’ve enjoyed sports, streamed movies via a laptop, DVDs played via laptop and via DVD player … all excellent. You can even use it as a monitor for your laptop, though I think it’s going to take some serious tweaking to make that worth doing – text is not good … some sort of resolution issue. Never thought a low-end 32″ LCD could be as rewarding as this has already been..

Samsung UN55D6500

The Samsung UN55D6500 TV is awesome especially in 3D. It would have been nice if the management has shown how to connect a Wii via component as the dongle is a bit ‘of confusion, but not a big deal. The only thing that would make this TV is better if Samsung has thrown in a wireless keyboard and a web browser.
The screen is crisp and clean, but I’m a novice audience. Cons: remote Arrow keys and select key is awkwardly placed. I can not say how many times I made a mistake, press the navigation key or the remote control to watch to make sure I have your finger on the button selection. Would have been nice for Samsung to have put a raised dot on the center key to the dark tactile operations.

Samsung PN51D450

So be aware that I am not a videophiles who is going to notice every detail. I wanted a TV for the living room, not a product I obsession and proclaim his vast technical superiority to everyone I come across. And ‘to watch movies, I do not need to marry him.

That said,Samsung PN51D450 was a great TV. And ‘strong (in some ways, too strong … the actors are more attractive when you could not see their pores) and the color is great. I never noticed blur or anything else that anyone could complain. I used it for the occasional video game session as well, and there are no problems, but it works well.

TV mounted perfectly, has enough connections, and the menu system is fairly simple to understand. This is a solid, quality product, and people who come to see a movie do not complain. Neither I am more than satisfied.

Samsung UN22D5000

I bought Samsung UN22D5000 TV based on the quality and aesthetics, and understood that justify the additional cost compared to other brands with similar screen size. And I knew that LED technology is ongoing, and would cost a little ‘more as well. You can imagine my absolute disappointment and frustration when I heard the awful sound quality of this model TV?! I’m not kidding when I say that this TV is very compromised ‘audio from a notebook PC or netbook cheap! I tried all the possible equalizer settings to no avail.

I can not return Samsung UN22D5000 TV now, so I have to live with it. I need to connect external speakers (computer speakers probably good), but they need to control the volume via buttons on the remote volume up / down. Can I use the USB or headphone jack for that? I would not mind going with USB powered PC speakers (which do not require batteries or an AC wall outlet), or even just a ‘sound bar’ those PCs that sits on top of your notebook. Tips and suggestions needed please. What are some of you to use external speakers? Thanks in advance.

Vizio XVT373SV

Great Vizio XVT373SV HDTV in the first place if you have not yet bought one. In fact they are too impressed by this for $ 470 I spent on a renovation here on Amazon. First of all, I got lucky cuz this restructuring is the latest new. I could not find anything wrong with it and well worth the $ 200 saved by not splurging for a new one. The network connection for the most part is great. Every few days I’ll have to reset my router for some reason. It sees the network, but same thing happens with my laptop. I think it’s a problem IVp6. Download updates to itself which is lovely. It has a sweet logo, a $% on the screen when you turn the logo that looks like a Transformer Decepticon.

Quality and design are excellent. The applications are fine. For the most impressed with the Pandora application because there are no adds and not stop playing when you leave, shows the work of the album and has a nice thumbs up / down voting option on every song he plays. Also like the Amazon Video instant application and how the remote works like a DVD remote. The remote control feels like cheap plastic, but XVT373SV works well and has a nice slide out keyboard. Netfilx applications and Hulu also work well but the Hulu Plus navigation and video search is not well designed.

LG 47LK520

I’ve had LG 47LK520 for just two days now. To date, the television continues to be very good.
PROS:
This LG continues to be exactly what i have been searching for, 1080P, 120htz, attractive, lightweight, etc. For that cost this is an excellent TV. The image is obvious and colours appears to become good too. The seem quality is decent. I have receive better signal than these tv. You will find lots of port for me. The television was easy to setup and also the menu options are simple to use.
CONS:

Couple disadvantages to date. The LG 47LK520 television comes with a thin red-colored bezel that lines the outdoors from the tv. It’s not noticeable from far but within 2 ft it’s noticeable. The stand is shaky. If you move the television the television will shake for any little but remains steady after couple seconds. Despite that time I still trust the tv won’t topple over. Another, you have to point the remote towards the center of the television to ensure that the remote to operate. No large deal there though.

To date this tv is exactly what i was expecting it’s a good tv in a good cost. I’ll update this review contrary changes.

LG 32LK450

I purchased the LG 32LK450 TV from BB, because I wanted to have someone to go to the event caused problems. I do not watch much TV, is practically as a monitor for my PC.

Advantages:

0) The picture is crisp and clear, especially with HD video (720p and up). Some pixellation is evident with 480p video such as Darren Hayes’ “Insatiable” on YouTube. Television set looks good, sometimes I need to manually select the aspect ratio.
1) HDMI, optical audio output, Component inputs, VGA input
2) The sound is decent, but nothing beats a good pair of speakers and maybe a stereo receiver can not resolve.
3) Energy saving, but I disable this feature when watching movies. Its not as Tron: Dark Legacy is not enough, for example.
4) The buttons are sensitive, so that the TV does not tilt when you use them.
5) menu system is very good. I was able to correct the display for vertical / horizontal when using the VGA input.
6) It has a headphone jack (the type found in iPods, do not know what size it is exactly.) I thought I’d mention this because my previous LG LCD TV has not had one.
7) Remote seems to be well out. However, no lights in the dark.

Negatives:

1) I / O seems a bit ‘fragile, gives way to a certain extent when adding or removing cables. I think you get what you pay for.
2) Optical output TV can only pass 2.0 audio channel to another HDMI input (5.1-channel audio with 720p video – Amazon Instant Video). I’m going to have an A / V receiver to remedy, so that it can make the most of my home theater set-up.

I wish I could have got a bigger television, too small for my room and sit about 11 feet from the screen. Its hard to see the text of the computer at this distance.

Panasonic TC-P50GT30

I perched Panasonic TC-P50GT30 2 Months ago at Amazon – The Skype rebate is a concern. After carefully following a endless instructions, we received instructions in the Advertising Checking Bureau Corporation., which appears to manage Panasonic’s rebates, asking for a duplicate from the top of the page from the tv manual to get the serial number and UPC code. But we’d already sent these: the serial number and upc barcode in the tv box and also the Invoice, and much more, per rebate instructions within the package. We’re disappointed only at that request, which stays customers’ time unnecessarily.

In August, we also sent IDENTICAL information for that Avatar movie underneath the dvd rebate and that we already received it during this situation, Panasonic demands more details, so it already has, and you never know if, so when, we’ll obtain the Skype camera. I really hope Panasonic resolves this matter quickly. In the meantime, in case your purchase decision weights within the rebate … well, don’t.
